The design and name refer to the iconic small stools, that were and still are a part of traditional Chinese life, reflecting the practicality and simplicity of everyday objects. These stools are often passed on through generations. The natural weathering and unique character of these stools, often made from reclaimed or rustic wood, make them attractive and decorative objects, often finding their ways into modern interiors.

BanDengèr is a modern interpretation of this cultural classic. The combination of traditional wood, modern recycled plastics, and rich boucle fabric, creates a unique mix of colors and textures. The curved wood allows for concealed storage space under the removable tabletop. BanDengèr its essential and pure impression, disguise a surprisingly versatile product.

The original version comes in a ash wood finish together with a white tabletop, featuring a translucent, rice cracker like texture, for a natural and bright look and feel. Color options in blue and red are available, matching a more vibrant interior. The black version in combination with a black tabletop, suits a more a more premium and refined context. Finally, the special edition with high end Italian ALPI veneer, featuring a bold yellow wood grain, will make a statement in any interior. The black tabletop features small yellow particles, reminiscent of a starry night, matching the yellow veneer.
